Ingredients
200g oats
2 bananas - the riper the better!
2 tbsp Nut Butter (my preference is almond)
100ml Almond Milk
1 tbsp of spice (cinnamon is great but whatever you have in the cupboard)
1 tbsp of agave syrup (or maple syrup or raw honey)
1 teaspoon of extract (or vanilla powder)
Oil for greasing the baking dish - coconut brings extra flavour but whatever you have is fine
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180oC (fan 160oC)
Oil a baking tin (about 20cm sq - I use a round tin so I'm 'forced' to eat the cut offs when making into bars - sneaky huh?)
Place all the ingredients into a food processor until well combined (if you don't have a food processor throughly mash the bananas in a bowl and then mix in all the other ingredients)
Press mixture into the tin and bake for 12-15 mins.
Leave to cool before turning out of the tin and cutting into bars.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge - will last up to 5 days but never survive that long in my house!
