Raw Food Brownies

Ingredients


200g walnuts 

200g dates (Medjool if you have the budget. Dried dates benefit from a quick soak in warm water to soften a bit, I do this whilst gathering the other ingredients together)

5 tbsp of raw cacao powder

4 tbsp desiccated coconut 

2 tbsp agave syrup (or honey)

1/2 tsp of Himalayan Pink Salt (or sea salt)


Instructions
 

 

Place the walnuts into a food processor and whiz into small pieces

Add the dates and process until well combined with the nuts

Add all the remaining ingredients and whiz until well mixed (don't over do it, you want some texture)

Press the mixture into a brownie dish (or any baking tin tin you have)

Cool in the fridge for an hour or two (this makes it easier to portion/slice but if you can't wait that long go for it!)

Cut into slices or squares and enjoy.

You can keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days
