Stuffed 'Snickers' Dates

Ingredients


15 whole dates (sayer or medjool are best but any will be delicious!)

7 teaspoons of nut butter (I use almond)

3 tablespoons roasted peanuts

50g 70% or 85% Cocoa Chocolate 



Instructions
 

  • Put a tablespoon of the peanuts in a food processor or blender or chop with a knife to make crushed peanuts. Set aside.
  • Slice the dates open, remove any stones. Stuff them with approximately 1/2 teaspoon of nut butter and 2-3 peanuts each.
  • Melt the chocolate and coat each date. Place them onto a board covered with baking parchment .
  • Sprinkle the stuffed dates with the crushed peanuts and put them in the fridge for 20 minutes or until  the chocolate has set. 


Dates stuffed with peanut butter, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with chopped nuts.
